CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As plum blossoms come into full bloom in Quchi Township, tourists can enjoy the compelling natural scenery as much as they like by taking boats, vehicles, hiking or other means.

In recent years, Wushan County, by promoting the deep integration of crisp plum industry and cultural tourism, has successfully blazed a path of development through “interaction between agriculture and tourism” with distinct characteristics. Currently, the total area sown with Wushan crisp plum trees has reached 300,000 mu, with comprehensive output value of approximately 2.1 billion yuan.

With the help of plum blossoms, Wushan County continues to boost industry development. Moreover, Wushan will build some demonstration zones like “100-li plum blossom corridor along the Yangtze River”. The county will also carry out series activities during the plum picking season to promote integrated development of “agriculture + cultural tourism + health-preservation industry”.
