CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the news released by Chongqing Airlines on March 17, Civil Aviation Administration of China will begin using 2025 summer-autumn flight schedules from March 30. Chongqing Airlines under China Southern will operate 56 flights during the new flight season, connecting Chongqing with 53 domestic and international cities, with 28,400 flights expected to be operated.

During the new flight season, Chongqing Airlines plans to launch 3 new flights: Chongqing=Yining, Chongqing=Shenyang and Chongqing=Dalian, increase the frequency of 2 flights: Chongqing=Shenzhen, Chongqing=Qingdao=Harbin, in order to promote the economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between these cities and meet passengers’ diversified needs for air travel.

Increasing the frequency of express flights “Chongqing=Daxing” “Chongqing=Guangzhou”

To further meet the travel needs of business travelers, Chongqing Airlines, by making full use of its advantages as a base airline and working together with its parent company, China Southern Airlines, has launched two express flights: Chongqing=Daxing, Beijing, Chongqing=Guangzhou. During the 2025 summer-autumn season, there will be 11 express flights Chongqing=Guangzhou operated per day, and 7-9  express flights Chongqing=Daxing operated per day, to ensure smooth economic and trade exchanges between Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region .

In addition to the said 2 core express flights, Chongqing Airlines and China Southern Airlines will also increase the frequency of various popular flights between Chongqing and cities like Shenzhen, Wuhan, Changsha, Zhengzhou, Shenyang and Dalian, and optimize schedules. Among them, there will be 6 flights between Chongqing and Shenzhen/Wuhan operated per day, 4 flights between Chongqing and Urumqi/Zhengzhou/Shenyang/Changsha per day, 3 flights between Chongqing and Haikou operated per day, 2-3 flights between Chongqing and Changchun/Dalian/Ningbo operated per day, and 2 flights between Chongqing and Harbin/Sanya/Hangzhou operated per day.

Operating three international flights Chongqing=Colombo=Male per week

With respect to international flights, Chongqing Airlines plans to increase the frequency of flight Chongqing=Colombo=Male, with 3 flights to be operated every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with Airbus A320 aircraft. The outbound flight CZ2393 will depart Chongqing at 12:00 and reach Colombo at 15:40; then it will depart from Colombo at 16:40 and reach Male at 17:50. The inbound flight CZ2394 will depart from Male at 18:50 and reach Colombo at 21:00, then it will depart from Colombo at 22:15 and reach Chongqing at 6:30 the next day.
