CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- A special accessible travel experience event recently unfolded at the Houbao Station on Chongqing Rail Transit (CRT) Line 10, where 30 visually impaired participants experienced the city’s upgraded rail transit facilities firsthand. Guided by station staff and volunteers, the group explored barrier-free features designed to foster independence. “I’ve taken the rail transit many times, and staff are always there to assist. It’s wonderful!” shared Wang Jiachun, a participant, reflecting the group’s enthusiasm.

The station concourses and platforms also feature tactile flooring, allowing visually impaired passengers to navigate with ease.

It’s about building an inclusive mindset. We hope this inspires more understanding and support for accessibility needs across our society.” (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
