The old, fixed queue barriers have been replaced with a series of comfortable seating options, allowing visitors to relax instead of standing while waiting.

At the scene, the reporter observed that the seating stretches from the outdoor entrance all the way to the waiting platform indoors. Given the varying widths of the space, the seating has been tailored accordingly. In more spacious areas, there are plenty of chairs with backs, while narrower sections feature simple benches. Visitors seated in order, moving forward as spaces became available, maintaining a well-organized atmosphere.

Improving the queuing experience has always been a key focus for the Yangtze River Cableway scenic area in terms of enhancing its service. As one of the iconic attractions of the “8D Magic City”, the cable car sees a steady stream of visitors, and long queues are a common sight. To address this, the scenic area was the first in the city to introduce an intelligent queuing system, allowing visitors to track queue times online and plan their visit accordingly.

In addition, the scenic area has opened the “Chongqing Box” at the north station of the Yangtze River Cableway.
