Starting on March 8, the Chongqing Garden Expo Park will launch its “Savoring the Serene Beauty of Spring at Chongqing Garden Expo Park” series of themed activities, offering visitors a romantic invitation to embrace the beauty.

A garden full of spring colors: Waves of flowers in full bloom

As you step into the Chongqing Garden Expo Park, you will feel the warmth of spring. Tulips, cherry blossoms, banana shrubs, magnolias, peach blossoms, camellias, and many other spring flowers bloom in succession, creating a stunning showcase of the park’s most beautiful springtime charm.

According to the Chongqing Garden Expo Park, the best time for flower viewing is March and April. In early March, the Longjing Academy and Huicui Garden will see hundreds of red and pink cherry blossoms and sunshine cherry trees coming into full bloom, creating a breathtaking sight. In mid-March, tulips in the Wetland Flower Valley will burst into a riot of colors, presenting a stunning and colorful scene. At the same time, over 2,000 peach trees in Bayu Garden will greet the spring with their fragrant blossoms, transforming the entire park into a picturesque landscape.

Additionally, in the Jiangnan Garden area, more than 20 varieties of begonia flowers will be in full bloom, painting a beautiful spring picture. From late March to early April, visitors can stroll down Huicui Garden’s Cherry Blossom Avenue, renowned as “Chongqing’s Most Beautiful Park Path” where over 3,000 Japanese late-blooming cherry trees will be in full glory.
