To showcase the unique allure of both Chongqing and London and offer a memorable cultural experience for citizens on both sides, the “Hello! China: Chongqing Meets Britain” 2025 Happy Spring Festival Cultural Exchange Event kicked off on February 6.

This week-long event allowed real-time interaction between Chongqing and London via large screens. During this period, from 11:00 to 13:00 (London time) on February 26, and from 11:00 to 12:00 (London time) from February 7 to 10; and from 19:00 to 21:00 (Beijing time) on February 6, and from 19:00 to 20:00 (Beijing time) from February 7 to 10, the Landmark installation screen in Chongqing was connected to a screen at King’s Cross Station in London. People could exchange greetings, send holiday wishes, and experience the cultural charm of both cities where tradition meets modernity.

The Landmark City Viewing Platform, located in Chongqing’s Nan’an District, offers stunning views of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers and landmarks like Jiefangbei. A blend of nature and modernity, it is a prime tourist and cultural destination for locals and visitors. In London, King’s Cross Station is a major railway terminus and the iconic starting point of the Hogwarts Express in the Harry Potter series, with Platform 9¾ drawing countless tourists every year.
