CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the reporter learned from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport that on November 29, it launched "paperless" travel services for flights to Hong Kong. Passengers flying on Hong Kong Airlines from Chongqing to Hong Kong can now check in directly through the Hong Kong Airlines official APP. With valid entry and exit documents and an electronic boarding pass, they can easily complete all procedures, including check-in, going through customs, border inspection, security checks, and boarding, enjoying the utmost convenience of a completely "paperless" customs clearance throughout the entire outbound process.

Easily purchasing tickets via mobile phones, successful check-in, scanning codes for customs clearance, and smooth boarding from the entire process of "paperless boarding" for outbound passengers, greatly saving travel preparation and waiting time. For passengers without checked luggage, the average time saved is 1.5 hours per person, allowing travelers to have more control over their itinerary and improving their willingness and experience of air travel.

In May of this year, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport launched its first international (regional) flight electronic boarding pass. Currently, the airport's international and regional "paperless" travel services cover two airlines, Hong Kong Airlines and Cathay Pacific. In the future, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport will continue to explore opportunities and aims to promote "paperless" outbound services on international routes that allow Chinese citizens to use electronic visas, visa on arrival, and visa-free entry, providing even more autonomous and intelligent star-rated services for travelers departing from Chongqing.
