CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As you step out this morning, have the bright sunshine and clear skies in Chongqing caught your eye? According to the Chongqing Meteorological Observatory on November 28, the city is expected to experience mostly cloudy weather over the next three days, with noticeable temperature differences between day and night.

This week, the first cold wave of the winter season has continued to affect most parts of China, with temperatures in over 27 major cities, including Chongqing, dropping to their lowest levels since the beginning of autumn. As reported by Weather China on November 28, this cold wave, which marks the first of the second half of the year, is now coming to an end. However, for the next two days (November 28-29), many regions in central and eastern China will experience limited warming, with temperatures remaining on the lower side. Following the passage of this cold wave, the lower and middle reaches of the Yangtze River will officially enter winter.

In addition, areas along the Yangtze River and further south will experience the peak of the temperature drop. Provinces such as Anhui, Henan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and western Sichuan are expected to see temperatures plummet. In many areas, the minimum temperatures will approach 5°C, and the wind chill will make it feel close to freezing. (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
