On November 12, Chongqing Transportation Payeasy Payment Company and Apple officially launched the Apple Pay Chongqing Transit Payeasy cards.

Citizens can activate the Chongqing Payeasy card through the 'Yutongxing' App or the 'Wallet' App on iPhones and Apple Watches. Users can simply use their iPhone or Apple Watch to pay, without needing to wake the screen, unlock the device, and open any applications when taking public vehicles. The cards can be used in the central urban areas of Chongqing and cities across the country that support transit connectivity.

On the day of launch, over 177,300 Apple Pay Chongqing Payeasy cards activated in a single day.

It is learned that the Apple Pay Chongqing Payeasy Card is yet another mobile phone transportation card co-launched by Chongqing Transportation Payeasy Payment Company with Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Honor, and Meizu.

Additionally, the 'Yutongxing' App also take the online service needs of users with physical cards into account, offering services such as recharging service for standard card e-wallets, student card monthly passes, and annual verification and recharging services for Senior Citizen Cards, Care Cards, and Care Discount Cards.
