CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- "The station is very lively; in the morning, people sell vegetables, and at night, there’s a night market. It's very convenient for us who live in the surrounding area," said Ms. Yang, a resident, sharing her experience visiting the "Bus Convenience Station." Since the station's opening, the previously quiet community has become more vibrant, attracting both people and businesses to the area, making it more convenient for residents' daily lives.
It is learned that the 'Bus Convenience Station' is an IP brand jointly invested in a certain proportion, developed and established by Chongqing Smart Headquarters New City Co., Ltd., Chongqing Digital Intelligence Industry Park Construction Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Southern Public Transportation Co., Ltd. It is located near Jianqiaoqun, Rongchuangoulu Huanyuancheng in Banan District, and the first pilot project has already been completed and put into service.
It is learned that the project is divided into three main zones: one is the Bus Station Zone, where repurposed decommissioned buses serve as commercial spaces, creating a large-scale night market; one is the Convenience Free Trade Zone, managed by the Jinlu Community, which provides a marketplace for local residents to sell their own products; the last one is the Support Parking Zone, which offers 83 parking lots, along with charging piles and self-service car wash facilities, to support the bus station area.
Upon entering the "Bus Convenience Station," the reporter found many surprises everywhere in this small night market. Although these shops are repurposed from decommissioned buses, they are carefully designed, showcasing a chic and artsy style with a "fresh and minimalist" aesthetic, perfect for taking photos and social media check-ins. Furthermore, the night market is well-organized, with clean and tidy spaces. The thoughtfully designed lighting adds a warm and inviting ambiance, enhancing the appeal of the shops along the street.
It is learned that the "Bus Convenience Station" also features a flexible layout that allows for easy mobility and repositioning of the buses as needed. The buses can be placed individually or together to create a small-scale interactive effect. It is more attractive compared to mobile vendors or traditional shops, which is conducive to promoting the overall commercial development of the area. (Translated by Jane, Fathom Language Limited)
