Chongqing and Germany opening a new chapter of cooperation

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Industrial Cooperation Conference of Chongqing Visit of German Advanced Manufacturing Enterprises was held on November 12, and 12 projects were signed on site, involving a contract investment of nearly 9 billion yuan.

Projects signed included 12 projects in the memorandum of cooperation signed between Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Siemens (China) Co., Ltd., covering multiple fields such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, industrial mother machines, service robots, etc.

The sponsor stated that the successful signing and implementation of these projects will bring new development opportunities to Chongqing, and attract more high-quality enterprises from all over the world covering the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to conduct on-site inspections, invest and develop in clusters in Chongqing. The successful implementation of projects will also provide strong support for strengthening, supplementing, and extending the key industrial chains in our city, and inject new momentum into cultivating and developing new quality productive forces, accelerating the construction of the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system, and vigorously promoting the high-quality development of Chongqing's manufacturing industry.

It is worth mentioning that on that day, six newly established units were licensed, including the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Software Training Base, Continental Group Software System Development Center (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. – Joint Laboratory in Liangjiang New Area of National Elite Institute of Engineering of Chongqing University, Project of Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative Branch of Chongqing Branch of CITIC Bank, Sino-German Industry Park (Jiulongpo, Chongqing), Operation Center of CITIC Consumer Finance Co., Ltd.
