CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Xinglongchang Marshalling Station is one of the nationwide road network-type marshalling stations and also the largest railway marshalling station in the southwest region. The 8-kilometer long station is filled with dense network of tracks. In recent years, Xinglongchang Station has vigorously promoted digitalization and intelligence to manage the marshalling station in an intelligent way, which has greatly improved transportation efficiency, thus providing sufficient transportation capacity for efficient operation of domestic and foreign freight trains such as China-Europe Railway Express and new western land-sea corridor freight trains.
