Recently, the cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded retail import business at Chongqing Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone has reached its peak.

According to statistics, during the promotion period, the average daily vehicle traffic flow in the airport area of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone reached between 2,000 and 4,000 vehicles. To ensure smooth logistics, Chongqing Customs has established a green channel for cross-border e-commerce at the customs supervision checkpoint of the Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, allowing trucks loaded with overseas goods to enter the area in an orderly and rapid manner.

In the 60,000-square-meter warehouse for imported goods of Chongqing Gangteng Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., warehouse staff carefully check the inbound goods against the packing list and product bar codes to verify details such as expiration dates, quantities, and specifications one by one.

After check, the staff will attach source codes to the products to ensure that consumers can obtain source information by scanning the code.

In the product selection area, staff carefully verify e-commerce orders to ensure that each order is accurately and promptly delivered to consumers.

Like the logistics personnel working on the front lines, customs officials have also been on duty for several consecutive days. The carefully checked products are packed and sent onto the conveyor belt, where they are swiftly delivered to the corresponding warehouse work areas through automated equipment, which has greatly accelerated the delivery speed.

Meanwhile, to ensure that such a large volume of ordered goods can be delivered smoothly, the Comprehensive Bonded Zone has also reserved available storage resources in advance to respond to the potential "warehouse overload" situation.

During the promotion period, all courier companies have made preparations in advance for vehicle capacity, human resources, and all steps involved in collection, transfer, and delivery.

According to company forecasts, during this year's "Double Eleven" promotion period, the Lianglu guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone in Chongqing is expected to see 1 million imported cross-border e-commerce packages, with a value exceeding 200 million yuan.

In recent years, driven by benefits such as "Internet Plus," cross-border e-commerce is becoming a new force in China's international trade.

Cross-border e-commerce goods travel across the seas to Chongqing through various intermodal transport routes, such as the new western land-sea corridor, the international railway intermodal of China-Europe Railway Express, and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, and then they will be delivered from the Comprehensive Bonded Zone to consumers.
