CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, power workers were seen emerging from the high-voltage power tower at the construction site of the 220kV Basi North-South Line, Bajin North Line, and Bazou Line power line relocation project on Shiquan Road, Ba’nan District.

This power line relocation project, which has entered the final stages of line inspection and acceptance, is a critical component of the Chongqing-Changsha High-Speed Railway construction. Once completed, it will ensure a reliable power supply for the construction of the Chongqing East EMU Depot. The Chongqing-Qianjiang section of the Chongqing-Changsha High-Speed Railway is a vital link in the national high-speed railway infrastructure network, specifically as part of the Xiamen-Chongqing passage (which is part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network). Upon its completion, this railway will serve as a rapid southward transit route for the Sichuan-Chongqing region, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and promoting coordinated development.
