It is learned that the 2024 National 'Cun BA' is a men's five-on-five basketball tournament. According to the competition rules, athletes must have their ID cards and household registration books indicating that their residence is in townships or below, and they must have resided there for at least one year. Civil servants, students, and professional players are not allowed to participate.

The Chongqing participating team, 'Jiulongpo Grape Warriors' is a new team formed in 2024, consisting of 12 athletes from Xipeng Town, Taojia Town, and Tongguanyi Town in Jiulongpo District, with ages ranging from 24 to 40, average height exceeding 1.8 meters, all local basketball enthusiasts. Since its formation, the team has participated in dozens of basketball competitions in the local area.

According to the competition schedule released by the China Farmer Physical Culture Association, the opening ceremony of the 2024 National 'Cun BA' will be held on November 8.
