Chongqing to offer helicopter tours to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong during the Spring Festival holiday next year

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The establishment and awarding ceremony for the Low-altitude Flight Travel Branch of the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Association held at the Chongqing Longxing General Airport on October 30.
As an emerging form of travel, low-altitude travel offers various new three-dimensional experiences, including helicopter sightseeing, paragliding, hot air balloons, fixed-wing aircraft, powered parachute, and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles. It also includes intercity shuttles between scenic spots, charter flights, and flight experiences, offering tourists a fresh perspective and experience.
It is learned that the newly established Low-altitude Flight Travel Branch of the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Association focuses on promoting the development of low-altitude flight tourism in Chongqing, aims to integrate industry resources, and promote the standardized and professional development of low-altitude tourism industry, so as to provide tourists with safer, more convenient, and efficient low-altitude travel services.
It’s learned that Chongqing has already launched low-altitude flight travel routes: Jiuzhou Yifei Tourism Flight Base – Baijusi Bridge – Banan – Jiulong Peninsula – Chonggang Industrial Wharf – Masangxi Cable-stayed Bridge – Yidu Ancient Town – Jiuzhou Yifei Tourism Flight Base. It is expected that a low-altitude flight travel route from Dadukou to Jiefangbei will be opened during the Spring Festival holiday next year, allowing citizens to take helicopter tours to view famous attractions such as Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from the air.
Next, Chongqing will incorporate Guang'an into the Chongqing low-altitude economic circle and visual flight route map to create a red quality travel route from Chongqing Hongyan (Martyrs' Cemetery, Southern Bureau) to Guang'an, the hometown of Deng Xiaoping, expected to open within this year.
Additionally, Chongqing will also establish several low-altitude travel routes to destinations such as Zhangjiajie (Fenghuang Ancient Town) in Hunan, Shennongjia in Hubei, Zunyi in Guizhou, and Hanzhong in Shaanxi, expected to open next year. (Translated by Jane, Fathom Language Limited)
