CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to a recent report from Chongqing Airport Group, after more than six months of intensive construction, the decorative works for the passenger area of Terminal T3B have reached basic completion, marking the transition of Terminal T3B construction into the final stage and system testing, with plans to meet completion and acceptance conditions by the end of this year.

It is noted that the decorative works for the passenger area of Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport Terminal T3B are divided into four sections, covering an area of approximately 144,000 square meters, including the central hall and four concourses. Compared to Terminal T3A, Terminal T3B features a more vibrant and modern decoration, highlighting many design elements.

In the central area, a 400-meter-long north-south square provides an unobstructed view, complemented by two UFO-shaped compass boxes that integrate functions such as ventilation, fire protection, broadcasting, and flight information display. The pure white high-reflectance panel ceiling combined with scattered light sources creates a starry sky effect, offering different visual experiences from various angles, with unique lighting effects. The three-story atrium landscape design mainly focuses on two themes, namely “Mountain City” and “River City”. The north side embodies the “Mountain City” theme with the “Fuyuan Garden” and “Leyuan Garden”, while the south side features the “River City” theme with the “Houyuan Garden” and “Yuanyuan Garden”.
