Chengdudong to Luzhou G8711 will be extended to terminate at Chongqingxi, with the train number changed to G8711/10, and Luzhou to Chengdudong G8718 will be extended to start from Chongqingxi, with the train number changed to G8771/4.

Notably, Chongqingxi to Yibin G5775 will be extended to terminate at Leshan, meaning that a direct train between Chongqingxi and Leshan is now available; Chongqingxi to Leshan G5775 will depart from Chongqingxi, passing through Yibin and Yibinxi before arriving at Leshan Station; Leshan to Chongqingxi G5797 will depart from Leshan Station, passing through Yibinxi and Yibin before arriving at Chongqingxi.
