CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recent updates reveal that Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4 has implemented a series of technical renovations, enhancing passenger experiences by optimizing display screen interfaces and introducing wireless charging facilities.
The newly optimized passenger information display features a more intuitive layout, emphasizing clarity and user-friendliness. Notably, when an express train approaches the station, the display screen flashes to help passengers easily distinguish it from regular trains. At the same time, the interface layout design and the style of visual elements have been optimized.
According to the representative from Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4, the design improvements cover background aesthetics, color matching, font choices, and spacing, ensuring a harmonious and appealing visual experience. The enhancements came after extensive discussions and collaborations among relevant departments. This trial operation is now underway at several stations, including Min'an Avenue Station, Chongqing North Station North Square Station, Toutang Station, and Tangjiatuo Station, where express trains stop. The complete upgrade for all stations is anticipated by the end of October, with updated schedules for express trains that will help citizens quickly locate information and board their trains.
Additionally, wireless charging facilities have been installed in the carriages of Line 4. The trial installation is complete on the 04031 marshaling electric passenger train, now in operation.
Each carriage of the 04031 train is equipped with three wireless charging pads, allowing passengers to charge their devices effortlessly – simply place a mobile phone on the charging pad. To accommodate various phone models, USB charging ports are conveniently located below the wireless charging pads, enabling simultaneous charging for up to three devices.
As an example, a Huawei mobile phone with a 4,400 milliampere-hour battery can be fully charged in approximately 70 minutes when its battery is nearly depleted. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for passengers, with future promotion planned based on feedback from the trial period. (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
