CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Chongqing Municipal Development and Reform Commission has recently released the new parking fee standards for the outdoor parking lot at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. Notably, the 24-hour parking fee for family sedans is capped at 50 yuan.

According to the announcement, the parking fees for the terminal area’s outdoor lot are as follows:

Small vehicles and three-wheel motorcycles: 5 yuan for the first hour, followed by 2 yuan for each additional half-hour, with a maximum charge of 50 yuan for 24 hours. Two-wheel motorcycles: 2 yuan for the first hour, followed by 1 yuan for each additional half-hour, capping at 20 yuan for 24 hours. Medium and large vehicles: 8 yuan for the first hour, and 2 yuan for every half-hour thereafter, with a maximum fee of 60 yuan for 24 hours.

For taxis, both cruising and online-hailed, designated parking lots with specific rates have been established. The parking fees are as follows:

Cruising taxis: A temporary parking fee of 2 yuan per trip, or 150 yuan for unlimited monthly parking. Online-hailed taxis: 2 yuan for the first hour per trip, 3 yuan for parking between 1 and 12 hours, and 2 yuan for each additional half-hour, with a maximum of 50 yuan per trip over 24 hours. The monthly parking also costs 150 yuan.

In terms of payment rules, if the parking service fee is less than one charging unit, it will be treated as one unit. To enhance customer service, parking is free for up to 15 minutes. If the vehicle exceeds 15 minutes, charges will apply from the start of the parking duration. Moreover, military vehicles, official police cars on urgent missions, fire engines, ambulances, and vehicles involved in engineering rescue, emergency repairs, or disaster relief will not incur any parking fees.

The announcement emphasizes that parking lot operators must adhere strictly to regulations, ensuring that prices and charging standards are clearly marked and prominently displayed throughout the parking area, allowing for social oversight. (Translated by Yuki, Fathom Language Limited)
