CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, China's “Third Spacesuits Technology Forum” was held in Chongqing, and the Chinese spacesuits appeared to the public for the first time.

The body of the spacesuits exudes a technological metallic luster. The red decorative bands on the upper and lower limbs enhance the visual sense of strength and slimming effect. Upper limb decorative band is designed as elegant “flying” ribbon, and lower limb decorative band is designed as a rocket ascending tail flame, taking concerted action.

According to Jiao Xingtao, President of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, it is honored for Sichuan Fine Arts Institute to participate in the design of the spacesuits which is a major national science and technology project. Next, it will further optimize the layout of disciplines and specialties, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and research institutions, and promote the deep integration of art and science and technology, and innovative development.

Sichuan Fine Arts Institute actively participated in the project based on its nearly 10 years of accumulation in the aerospace field, including participation in the design of the national manned lunar rover’s preview program and alternative program. The design team focused on the translation of the national image and the spirit of aerospace, incorporating the concepts of Chinese spacesuits and lunar rovers into the design. The project is a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaboration, involving various fields such as industrial design and clothing design.

What’s behind the frequent flight is nearly a decade of precipitation and accumulation. Duan Shengfeng, Vice President of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, introduced that with the strength and prosperity of China’s national power, China has become one of the few countries in the world with the strength of manned lunar landing, and the design is to show the world the ability of China’s astronautical clothing design and high-end applications.

Duan Shengfeng introduced that the final spacesuit design fully embodies China’s space dream and spirit. It is not only highly practical and safe, but also shows the charm of Chinese culture through unique design language.
