CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 26, the interior decoration at Jiangjin North Station has finished, marking the completion of all four newly constructed stations on the Chongqing-Yibin section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway.

Zhang Hongkun, Deputy Director of the Yibin Command Center of Beijing-Kunming High-Speed Railway Xikun Company, explained that the Chongqing-Yibin section is designed for speeds of up to 350 kilometers per hour. This section includes eight stations: Chongqing West, Jiulongpo, Jiangjin North, Yongchuan South, Luzhou East, Luzhou, Nanxi, and Yibin East. Of these, Chongqing West, Luzhou, and Yibin East are existing stations, while Jiulongpo is a reserved station. The other four – Jiangjin North, Yongchuan South, Luzhou East, and Nanxi, are newly constructed and were built by China Railway Construction Engineering Group. These stations incorporate local architectural styles, perfectly blending regional culture with modern transportation infrastructure.

On the same day, the first crew for the Chongqing-Yibin section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway, under the Chongqing Passenger Transport Section of China Railway Chengdu Group, made their debut. They are ready to welcome the opening of the new line, prepared with fresh uniforms and enhanced professional skills.

To ensure top-quality passenger services when the Chongqing-Yibin section opens, the Chongqing Passenger Transport Section carefully selected crew members with excellent political awareness, strong professional skills, and well-rounded qualities, following the principle of “optimizing internal resources, streamlining routes, and making strategic allocations”.

In preparation for the line’s opening, 17 intensive pre-service training sessions, covering passenger services, crew etiquette, operational processes, service standards, and emergency drills, have been conducted to ensure members can master key aspects of the new line, including schedules, equipment and facilities, and emergency protocols and they are fully equipped to handle any unexpected situations.

Additionally, the Chongqing Passenger Transport Section has prepared guides highlighting tourist attractions and popular food spots along the Chongqing-Yibin section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway. These guides, available as handy reference cards for passengers, complement special services such as wheelchair reservations and arrival reminders, enhancing the overall travel experience.
