A new season of bountiful harvests

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chengkou County, located in the northernmost part of Chongqing, sits in a mid-to-high-mountain region with an average altitude of 1,200 meters. This elevation causes the harvest season for its crops to arrive later than in other areas. Now, following the Autumnal Equinox, the crops such as rice and walnuts have finally reached their time of harvest. Now, golden waves of wheat and green currents of walnuts can be seen everywhere in the county.
