CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Yongchuan signed contracts for four major low-altitude economy projects on September 25, signaling a promising start in developing this sector.

The four projects include the eVTOL R&D and Manufacturing Base and Low-Altitude Economy Industrial College Project by XueDa Education; the Low-Altitude Medical Materials Transportation Project by Hangzhou Antwork; the Flight Camp Project by Chongqing Langsa Aviation; and the Southwest Science and Education Industrial Base Project by Chongjiang Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Technology. They cover multiple areas including low-altitude manufacturing, low-altitude experiences, low-altitude operations, forest patrol inspections, and low-altitude educational research.

Beijing Xueda Education is partnering with Chongqing City Vocational College to establish Chongqing’s first low-altitude economy industrial college. The collaboration focuses on eVTOL aircraft research and development, integrating industry, academia, and research to provide talent for Yongchuan's burgeoning low-altitude economy.

Chongqing Langsa Aviation plans to set up a low-altitude flight camp in Yongchuan, expanding "low-altitude + cultural tourism" experiences. That same morning, they launched a low-altitude flight route from Liangjiang New Area to Yongchuan.

Hangzhou Antwork and Chongqing Feikuai Navigation Technology are the pioneers of urban air logistics. Together with Yongchuan Hospital, Chongqing Medical University, they have launched Chongqing's first UAV medical materials transportation line, which is now fully operational.

Chongjiang UAV Technology, the authorized DJI Agriculture platform provider in Chongqing, is establishing a UAV agricultural application platform in Yongchuan. This initiative aims to provide services for the southwest agricultural and forestry market, develop an aviation research base, and create a UAV pilot training center to position Yongchuan as a leader in the sector.
