6th "Air Silk Road" International Cooperation Summit held in Chongqing

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 6th "Air Silk Road" International Cooperation Summit, part of the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services, opened at Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center on September 26. The two-day event, themed "High-Quality Construction of the Air Silk Road and Elevating the New Western Land-Sea Corridor," marks the first time the event is being held outside Beijing.
The summit adopts a "1+M+1" conference model, featuring one main forum, multiple parallel forums, and the "Air Silk Road Chongqing Night 2024" event. More than 300 distinguished guests, including representatives from international organizations, embassies, consulates, and leading airlines, attended. They gathered to share insights and strategies on various critical topics ranging from openness and cooperation to intelligence, sustainability, and the burgeoning low-altitude economy, aiming to advance the high-quality development of the Air Silk Road in this new era.
The summit focused on pressing industry issues, including the coordinated development of the "Silk Road in the Air with the New Western Land-Sea Corridor, international cooperation in the aviation industry, aviation carbon emission reduction, intelligent civil aviation construction, the rise of urban air transport in the low-altitude economy. Several key projects and initiatives were also introduced during the event, including the 2024 Air Silk Road Excellent Service Demonstration Cases, the 2024 China Airport Economic Development Index, the Chongqing Initiative for International Cooperation on the Air Silk Road, and the Air Silk Road Global Brand Initiative.
In addition to the main discussions, a series of specialized events were held concurrently, including the Ambassador and Minister Roundtable Dialogue, the Global 30-Person Forum on Zero-Carbon Airports and Parks, the National Low-Altitude Economy Industry-Education Integration Forum, the 3rd China Airport Economic Development Symposium, the Chongqing (Yubei) Airport-Related Industry Development Symposium, and the Air Silk Road Chongqing Night 2024.
