CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On September 23, the 2024 Chongqing Autumn Premium Tourism Resources Promotion and the "Celebrate the National Day Enjoy Your Trip in Magnificent Chongqing" National Day Culture and Tourism Activity Press Conference were held in Liangping. The reporter learned that the culture and tourism system of Chongqing, will launch over 750 culture and tourism activities, more than 100 autumn tourism routes, and over 150 public benefit measures, all under the theme of “Celebrate the National Day Enjoy Your Trip in Magnificent Chongqing".

Among these, the cultural activities for the public are particularly rich and diverse. In the lead-up to and during the National Day holiday, all public cultural institutions in Chongqing, including libraries and cultural centers, will organize 194 public cultural activities.

Two major themed series of activities have been planned citywide to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The "Let All Flowers Bloom Together to Celebrate the Nation’s Birthday" mass art series will feature 23 activities in various forms; while the "Great Journey – 75th Anniversary Image and Text Chronicle" series will include 46 activities, covering exhibitions of images and texts, reading activities, film reviews, and painting and calligraphy exhibition.

Chongqing’s museums and intangible cultural heritage will showcase the city’s rich history. Major museums will offer nearly 160 interactive exhibitions and activities with their own characteristics.

Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum will host the "Love China, Celebrate Her Birthday Together" series; the Chongqing Natural History Museum, Chongqing Science and Technology Museum, etc. will launch National Day themed activities; and the Chongqing Hongyan Revolutionary History Museum will also launch a series of exhibitions, highlighting the touching stories and revolutionary spirit of the martyrs.
