CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On the evening of September 15, local time in France (early morning of September 16, Beijing time), the closing ceremony of the 47th World Skills Competition was held in Lyon, France. Chinese delegation won a total of 36 gold medals, 9 silver medals, 4 bronze medals and 8 merit awards, ranked first in the gold medal list, medal list and total group score in 59 events in this competition. Among them, five players from Chongqing achieved 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 1 merit award.

Xiong Shouyu from Chongqing Architecture Technician College won the gold medal in the plastering and partition wall system event, Wu Yanting from Chongqing Technology and Business Institute won the gold medal in the 3D digital game art event, and Tian Feihong who is a teacher of hairdressing and image design from the School of Modern Service of Chongqing Wuyi Polytechnic won the gold medal in the hairdressing event.

Qin Hui who is a teacher from Chongqing City Management College won the silver medal in the cosmetology event, and Liu Zhizan who participated in the cybersecurity event finally won the merit award. It is worth mentioning that among the five Chongqing players, four of them are post-00s.
