CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, according to Shapingba Culture and Tourism Development Committee, at 2024 Inbound Tourism High Quality Development Conference held in Hefei, Anhui, Ciqikou Ancient Town is ranked among Top 10 Favorite Destinations for Inbound Tourists.

Co-hosted by China Tourism Academy, Publicity Department of the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Hefei People’s Government, the Conference, with the theme of “Strengthening China Through Product Innovation and Tourism Development”, set up keynote speeches, dialogues on high-quality development of international destinations, and release of inbound tourism preferred programs, etc., aiming at in-depth discussion of inbound tourism product innovation and strengthening the country through tourism development, sharing experiences and exchange cooperation, and jointly promoting the high-quality development of inbound tourism.

With lanes paved with stone slabs, one river, two streams, three mountains and four streets, the time-honored Ciqikou Ancient Town was a famous water transportation terminal of Chongqing, and it is also one of the most well-known cultural landmarks in Chongqing. Ciqikou Ancient Town, known as “Mini Chongqing”, condenses the geographical characteristics of Chongqing, and contains the humanistic spirit including resilience and progress. It is famous for the transportation of porcelain, but also become famous at home and abroad because of a hundred years of culture.
